Hi, I’m Tim. I am the lead attorney of our firm here in Santa Cruz, and I’ve been a practicing lawyer for over 35 years. I began my professional legal career in 1974, serving as a Captain in the Army Judge Advocate Generals Corps in Washington D.C. In 1979 I left the Army and headed to Santa Cruz, the city where I was born and raised, to start my own private practice and I’ve been serving the people of the greater Santa Cruz area ever since. Over the years, our firm has evolved to serve the special needs of our local clients in the areas of real estate law, estate planning and administration, and business law. In addition to my professional service, I have been heavily involved in our local community and community organizations including the Santa Cruz Chamber of Commerce, the UCSC Foundation (my alma mater), the Boy Scouts, church, and most recently, the Dominican Hospital Foundation. I’ve found that a lifetime community involvement and local connections has been of great value in serving those who have looked to our firm for help with their legal affairs. Below is a brief overview of my professional and community work. Take a look, and let’s talk about how I can help you.Read More
Hi, I’m David. I am a Texas based attorney with the firm. I was admitted to the bar in 1993 and have been practicing law for over 21 years. I started my career in the tech world, eventually serving as in-house council in the heart of Silicon Valley. Having always held small business close to my heart, I joined my lifelong friend Tim Morgan in his law firm in Santa Cruz, CA, in 2007 where I serve the needs of small business owners and individuals. Coming from a background in the tech world gives me a unique big-business perspective that I use to advise and council clients on their legal business matters – beyond the scope of typical small business issues and thinking – including business organization, transactions and intellectual property protection.
My family grew, and in 2012 I relocated us to Austin, Texas. Here in the Lone Star State I remain an active community member serving as Cubmaster of my son’s Cub Scout Pack, and my wife and I are involved in founding a new Episcopal church in our area. Below is a brief overview of my professional work and service. Take a look, and let’s discuss how I can assist you with your legal needs.
